York City Little League offers participation opportunities for children ages 5 through 14. With low registration fees, York City Little League offers a tremendous value to the community, its baseball players, parents, coaches and other volunteers. Our top priority is to offer a fun environment that helps build character, integrity and good sportsmanship. York City Little League is an Urban Initiative Program, which is a component of Little League Baseball and Softball. There are approximately 200 Urban Initiative Programs in 85 US cities.
York City Little League also partners with York Little League in support of their Challenger Division. The Challenger Division was established in 1989 as a separate division of Little League to enable boys and girls with physical and mental challenges, ages 4-18, or up to age 22 if still enrolled in high school, to enjoy the game of baseball along with the millions of other children who participate in this sport worldwide.
York City Little League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization managed by an all-volunteer Board of Directors committed to this community and its children. All donations & registration fees are funneled directly back into York City Little League operations.
Spring and Fall seasons are available. YCLL serves all York City Youth or any students attending any of the public/private/charter schools located within the York City boundaries. YCLL is a travel program and our teams play teams from leagues within PA District 14, which includes York, Adams, Franklin and Cumberland counties.
